Speaking with the band, the Jacks, on Thursday afternoon -- I had the chance to peer deeper into their quarantine life in Southern California.
All the band members (Josh Roossin, drums; Scott Stone, bass; Tom Hunter, guitar), barring their singer Jonny Stanback, have been living with their families at home.
It was definitely a change of pace to see their entire band sitting together, behind one screen; there was a palpable energy buzzing in the air.
While it comes as no surprise, the guys are clearly itching to play some live shows and see their fans -- fans who are equally eager to see them.
The Jacks appear to have an intimate, symbiotic relationship with their fans -- one of mutual appreciation and devotion.
From cracking jokes and ribbing each other in the interview to having serious dialogue regarding their philosophy of music and the creative process, these guys know how to communicate who they are and where they want to go.
